PD) The PD provides direction and deep technical and security knowledge in applying the OCI PaaS and IaaS cloud solutions to government sector business opportunities.
Facilitation of OCI PaaS and IaaS product understanding through deep technical presentations, demonstrations and supporting technical solution architectures to some of the most challenging enterprise problems for Oracle’s government customers and missions.
The PD will be from at least 2 of the following : ex-government, large system integrator, military, and intelligence background and will have strong security acumen and executive level presence as an influencer in many of the world’s largest government theatres.
The PD will partner closely with sales teams to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of OCI solutions, drive the product definition, prioritization of Oracle’s Government Cloud IaaS and PaaS offerings to support our Government Customers’ mission critical workloads and support Field Sales, Strategic Partners and ISVs in driving Customer adoption and success on Oracle Government Cloud platforms.
The PD will also support Field Sales, Strategic Partners, ISVs in driving customer adoption and success on the Oracle commercial regions, EMEA Government Cloud platforms, and to drive new business opportunities for governments both inside and outside the UK for Oracle Dedicated Regions Cloud Customer and Oracle National Security Regions.

Develop technical white papers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations to enable government customers to fully leverage Cloud IaaS and PaaS services.
The PD will partner closely with the Business Development and Sales teams, and Public Policy teams to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of OCI solutions.
Lead and participate in deep architectural panels, centers of excellence, and customer advisory boards to have IaaS / PaaS discussions with government customers, ISV partners and Oracle field personnel to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the field and internal teams.Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within governments to enable them to be cloud advocates.
QUALIFICATIONSStrong executive-level verbal and written communications skills. Past experience writing and publishing technical white papers.
Strong background in national security, intelligence and defence, expertise in both business and technology strategy, R&D, and public policy awareness, combined with Oracle OCI security acumen.
BS / MS degree : Computer Science or Engineering degree with Technical background highly desired; Advanced Degree a plus.
Current or former technical architect training and skills applicable to supporting defence in government on-premise and cloud environments.
Digital transformation leader with demonstrated experience planning the migration of large mixed-use workloads from on-premise to cloud for government customers.
Advanced understanding of cybersecurity and threat modeling techniques, and applicable tooling required for modern cloud delivery platforms and infrastructure as it applies to implementation of government missions when delivering critical, safe and secure workloads to cloud.
Communicate complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences at the CTO, CIO, CISO levelBe able to work with and communicate internally & with the government customers and policy makers at all levels, including engineers, end-users, partners and senior leaders.
8+ years’ experience designing large-scale cloud, IaaS, PaaS solutions government enterprise environments. Cloud Security, Risk and Compliance awareness as it relates to government customer regulatory requirements e.
