We are currently looking for an IT Team Lead Finance for a permanent contract within a leading company in the retail sector.

The aim of the project ? Focus on digital projects and roll out of SAP Finance together with internal staff and external suppliers with the objective of optimizing business processes.

Your role ? As IT Team Lead Finance, you employ considerable SAP (and non SAP) Process & Application, Finance Portfolio Management and People management skills.

As a trusted advisor in the area of Finance, you will be in charge of process & application analysis, making recommendations (can be process changes, application changes or automation) and subsequently implementing them from design to support.

To be successful, you will need to build strong relationships with your business partners . You will collaborate actively with our internal clients and you are able to translate business requirements into solutions.

Your main counterparts are the Finance Business Process Owners, the accounting, treasury, tax & controlling teams. As people manager, you will manage a team of IT people (internal and external).

You will need to intensively cooperate with business & IT colleagues from other teams. As the Finance portfolio manager, you take responsibility on delivery, from business requirement definition, through solution proposal, project realization, deployment and Go Live, including a final assessment on results acquired.

Your expertise will allow you to inspire people towards a common objective contributing proactively to improvements that benefit the business.

  • You will : Act as single point of contact for all Financial related applications (not SAP exclusive) Participate in meetings with the Financial Department providing guidance and IT insights of future development to improve and optimize the financial processes Evaluate the change requests of important users and business process owners, suggest solutions and implement and / or coordinate the changes;
  • Analyze functional and technical designs, evaluate the nature of the solution (cost effectiveness, functional and technical fit of the solution) and support its development;
  • Work on change requests with the external partners; Be involved in SAP implementation projects : GAP analysis, Developments, Adjustments, Testing, Training, User Acceptance, Go-live;
  • Be responsible for documenting the business processes; Your background and experience ? Degree in information technology, applied economics or a related field Team Leadership skills.

    In depth functional knowledge of multiple SAP modules, including Finance (AP, AR, AA, ...) and Controlling. Experience in SAP IS Retail & S / 4HANA is an asset.

    Excellent communication skills in English + one of the national languages. A mature, assertive and dynamic personality, with excellent interpersonal skills A teammate and motivator within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams At least 7 years of relevant SAP Finance experience Understanding of best practices, trends and technologies within the area of Finance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are able to effectively prioritize and carry out tasks in a high-pressure environment You are customer oriented, with excellent communication skills, capable to defend your ideas, but open to listen to others as well.
