Provide timely and accurate support for laboratory information management system and other supported applications for internal and external users;
Provide system enhancements, development, improvement, documentation of processes and training where appropriate;
Attend to requested updates and tickets resolution will include gathering requirements, coding changes as needed, testing changes made and deploying updates globally;
Update and maintain system documentation (Technical Manual, Design Specification, etc.);
Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion;
Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources; and
Perform deployments of application / product releases to production environments globally.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field or Bachelor of business administration, information systems
Good organizational skills, very detail oriented; and
Strong analytical and communication skills;
Basic programming knowledge highly desirable
Previous experience working in a commercial LIMS such as LabVantage is a plus
