WORK LOCATION : Ft. Collins, CO

SHIFT : Ability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays on varying shifts (midnights, days or afternoon). Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.

Our Maintenance Technician Weekenders work in a team or independently within a high-speed manufacturing environment and are the key in guaranteeing that our quality is where it needs to be : the very best.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling of machinery, motors gearbox to replace, and replace bearings, bushings, etc.

Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes.

Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.

Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools.

Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.

Adhere to plant safety and 5S requirements; Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

Lead process improvement and initiate change. Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or GED required

  • Experience within industrial / manufacturing environment with knowledge base around high speed equipment : mechanical work, valve replacement, conveyor bearing and chain replacement, motor / gearbox replacement with alignment, lube routes;
  • Precision machining skills and welding ability preferred

  • Comfort / experience using computers on a day to day basis within programs such as : basic Microsoft office, computer maintenance management systems (CMMS);
  • Basic knowledge of computer networking (routers, Ethernet, switches, etc) preferred

    Basic knowledge of PLC / ladder logic over varying platforms including but not limited to : Allen Bradley / Rslogix5 / ControlLogix / Siemens etc.

    Basic knowledge surrounding process calibrations and instrumentation including but not limited to pressure, flow and temperature

    Troubleshooting experience including but not limited to variable drives, servo motors, 3 phase motors, input / output devices

    Part-time

    Wage Rate : $, 1.5X Saturday, 2X Sunday

    No guarantees of work hours. During the slower production times when not much weekend work is being scheduled, the weekenders will be rotated so that we can fairly distribute the work
