Entity and activity description
The LEAD (Leading Enterprise in Analysis & Diagnostics) Center is located in Brussels at the heart of Air Liquide’s operations in the Benelux : the Remote Operations Control Center from where our pipeline networks are managed.
The LEAD Center focuses on enhancing operational performance, by leveraging Smart & Innovative Operations (SIO) predictive and optimization streams as well as other data analytics.
Its main role is to define the optimum operation mode and provide the ROCC & production sites with all necessary tools and support to operate at such optimum mode, and identify and develop sales and energy optimization opportunities.
The LEAD Center has strong interactions with all other departments, in particular with the Energy Management team, the Business Development team and the experts from the Industrial Direction.
Missions and Responsibilities
WHAT DOES THE LEAD PERFORMANCE MANAGER’ DO?
The LEAD Center is divided into 3 teams : the Performance Management team, the Operational Excellence team and the Digital & Data Science team.
As LEAD Performance Manager you report directly to the Head of Performance Management. Your main role is to ensure the LEAD Center plays its role in conducting the performance mindset in the organisation, and initiates, develops & implements initiatives to reach the highest possible performance level in accordance with management ambitions.
The location is flexible and the candidate can choose either Brussels or Düsseldorf.

Education
You can become a LEAD Performance Manager when you have a solid background in industrial operations and / or energy optimization, with an aptitude and mindset for commercial topics.
A few years of process engineering experience in the chemical industry is ideal.
