Main Responsibilities :

  • Build a deep understanding of the market : category and segmentation definition (archetypes), shelve shares & structure, assortment, seasonality of demand, price-range, promotion.
  • Define, in alignment with the project leader, the Ferrero potential in consistency with the Group guidelines : assortment per banner, distribution ambitions, competitive reference items.

  • Define a promo strategy, per market, as guideline for the KAMs. Assist the KAMs in the construction of their customer plans.
  • Construction of the commercial plan : play an active role in the construction of the Belux and NL commercial plans; check & challenge the input from KAMs, in alignment with forecast managers NL and Belux and the Project team leader.
  • Build a fact-based sales argumentation and feed the launch story & sales presentation with compelling arguments to maximize our listing chances.
  • Create an efficient relationship with internal (Group launch team, local marketing Department, AFC, supply, master data,,.
  • and external clients.
  • Run a Performance analysis (post launch) on client’s and competitor performance, including promotion impact & efficiency.
  • Identify discrepancies vs objectives and drive corrective actions.

  • Target achievement : Contribute to the achievement of results in terms of volume, turnover and Profitability.
  • Respect of assigned A&P budget and Group rules on procurement.
  • Who we are looking for :

  • Master degree required in Business, Economics or Marketing.
  • Min 5 years experience in FMCG marketing and / or category management.
  • Team player, flexible and results-oriented.
  • Mobility : Brussels-based; yet also work 2 days / week in office Breda. Visit stores across BEL, Lux and NL.
  • Self-starter, autonomous organizer, sense of initiative and assertiveness
  • Good analytical skills (convert figures / facts into insights & stories).
  • Mastery of Nielsen panels, GFK and shopper studies
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Good knowledge of HM / SM / HD / Impulse circuit & client culture
  • Capacities to manage budgets with basic understanding of P&L Management
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
