Purpose of the role :

The incumbent will be responsible for the IT / Purchased Services (ITPS) procurement category in Benelux and have personal accountability for developing and / or enabling ITPS procurement strategies, delivering the committed productivity projects and ensuring supplier services are delivered in line with stakeholders expectations.

He / she will act as single point of contact for any Indirect procurement matters in Benelux and ensure Indirects Procurement productivity delivery is aligned with key stakeholders and Finance team in Benelux.

The incumbent will also lead the execution of procurement activities through the newly implemented MyBuy system, ensuring successful change management and associated process improvements and policies changes.

Job dimensions :

  • Enable ITPS category strategy development (ITPS includes IT Services and Telecoms, Merchandising, POS and Promo Items, Travel, Fleet and HR Services, and other Professional Services), and execute transformation across all areas of Benelux Indirect Procurement ($MM in ITPS)
  • Support Global / Sector or lead local Strategic Sourcing initiatives and execute Category Management for ITPS categories in Benelux with YOY savings target of 5% on spend in scope
  • Support the succes of myBuy system, including associated process and policies changes, in Benelux
  • Ensure alignment and sign-off of Indirects productivity delivery with Benelux Finance team
  • Manage local Indirects procurement team in Benelux : 1 direct report (Indirects Buyer NL) and 1 dotted line report (Logistics Buyer Benelux)
  • Execute any additional specific projects or take up any further responsibilities depending on Benelux organization’s needs
  • Accountabilities :

  • Increase procurement coverage from current
  • Effectively manage local stakeholders relations, capturing business needs and leading organization through change and towards new ways of working with the Procurement function
  • Enable ongoing system, process, policies changes providing guidance and issues resolution to local stakeholders
  • Partner with WE / SWE ITPS lead and liase effectively with Procurement Operations Center (myBuy) enabling right process, customer service are in place and reflect on the local needs
  • Maximize delivery for Benelux Indirects categories by partnering with EU category managers, local suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Drive the transformation of Indirects procurement in Benelux partnering with SWE- / WE- Indirects Lead to ensure harmonzied approach with other SWE- / WE- markets
  • Smoothless execution of Sector / Region strategic initiatives and visibility of value delivered by Procurement to Stakeholders.
  • Build partnership relations with different functions and ensure procurement is involved at earliest stage of procurement process.
  • Be recognized as indisputable source of value for the stakeholders.

  • Ensure appropriate reporting and the impact of procurement initiatives in Benelux P&L;
  • Provide local leadership to all Indirects related transformation initiatives
  • Draw up cost and price forecasts, manage and monitor procurement performance in accordance with PepsiCo policies and guidelines for Benelux Dashboard
  • Ensure compliance of local procurement processes with PepsiCo rules & guidelines
  • Build personal procurement expertise in ITPS identifying business needs, developing Benelux market insights and representing the regional specificities in European strategy development.
  • Execute Global / EU strategies in ITPS in Benelux and all related changes

  • Build strong & strategic supplier relationship with local supplier base ensuring best value for money at all times. Plan formal supplier review sessions to follow up KPI’s and performance.
  • Coach and build a high performing local procurement team.
