Do you want to join the IT Innovation team as a Solution Designer Business (PO and BC).?We looking for someone who is not only passionate about IT and IT Innovation, but also not afraid to roll up your sleeves to take on serious responsibilities.
You act as a technology consultant / trusted advisor, matching technology developments with business opportunities, and by implementing innovative solutions you contribute to value generation for Borealis.
Your main areas of responsibility include amongst others :
You ensure up-to-date understanding of technology developments and market trends affecting solution offerings (optimising market opportunities, minimising negative effect of competition).
You develop product / solution visions and roadmaps. Turn vision into value-adding business solutions.
You meet business innovation representatives regularly to exchange about upcoming IT and business trends and to determine areas to conduct deeper research and analysis, to evaluate the potential impact of those trends on the business opportunities of the company.
You identify technical risks (including data security) inherent in the ideas.
You collaborate with stakeholders to create and shape ideas to solutions.
You analyse, document and clarify the functional and non-functional requirements and design viable technical solutions.
You ensure all required architectural decisions are made in accordance with the enterprise architecture governance.
You oversee development and testing of prototypes of the new solutions.
You document product architecture and provide developers with guidelines and advise for the further development of the product.
You lead projects as technical expert (e.g. stream leader) and support project leaders in planning. Provide insight and direction during complex solution development projects.
You are the right candidate for this position if you possess the following experience, knowledge and skills :
To complement our team, we are looking for someone who can bring the following expertise to the table :
Master level in engineering, computer science or related area
8 years of work experience in an international matrix organisation
Experience in design of technical architectures and / or business processes
Experience in managing large and complex projects
Knowlegde of agile manifesto, values, principles and practices such as Kanban and Scrum
Fluent in English
Strategical, analytical, conceptual, process and customer oriented thinking
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Excellent communication and persuasion skills combined with diplomacy with impact and influence
