Our Brussels office offers graduated law students a possibility to gain experience and training from an international law firm through our trainee program.
By working closely with senior associates and partners, you will be able to gain practical experience of advising and clients on various aspects of European law, including notification of mergers or state aid procedures before the European Commission, drafting and filing briefs for litigation before the European Courts, informing and advising clients on European regulatory issues and lobbying the EU institutions.
Our trainee program runs for twelve months, hiring each year in March and September. The next period will start in March 2020.
Our trainees work on a full-time basis.

Law students interested in a position as Legal Trainee :
Need to have completed their academic qualifications including modules on EU or Competition (Antitrust) law, and relevant legal experience including a European institution.
Completion of an LL.M. at a foreign university is an asset.
Candidates need to be outgoing and resilient, with strong communication and social skills and a high degree of commitment to the job.
A fluent level in English is required. Knowledge of another language is desirable.
Previous work experience in a law firm is a plus.
Candidates must have very good analytical skills.
Candidates will show diligence, attention to detail, professionalism, eagerness to learn, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Candidates should have very good computer skills
