Eurelec Trading SC is a joint venture between REWE Group and E.Leclerc, the two largest independent retail groups in Europe, based in Brussels.
We are a European-wide wholesaler for negotiating and purchasing branded products from the largest international FMCG suppliers.
Eurelec represents a unique model on the European market that is in constant search for synergies between REWE Group and E.
Leclerc, while preserving the identity and culture of each of the partners. Dedicated to a very strong expansion, we are strengthening our team by recruiting the talent of an International Negotiation Manager.
As the keystone of Eurelec's organization, you are in charge of international negotiations with industrial FMCG suppliers.
You will be involved in the whole process, right from the beginning with the preparation of the negotiation strategy until the end with the finalization of the contracts.
Your main missions :
Coordinate, lead and moderate the annual purchasing price negotiations with multinational industrial FMCG suppliers
Build the negotiation arguments and strategies with your negotiation team, consisting of the top-level buyers from E. Leclerc and REWE Group
Evaluate and asses relevant market and category trends
Manage the balance of being an interface for your international partners to guarantee a good flow of information and transparency to successfully reach common targets
Identify and anticipate possible negotiation blockages, to be able to respond with tactical approaches
Ensure good collaboration among the partners to nurture a trustful relationship
Prepare and present decision-ready documents for the Eurelec management and its stakeholders
Execute key administrative tasks (operative, legal and commercial matters) as part of the completion of the annual talks
Oversee projects as part of the ongoing development and improvement of the competitiveness and effectiveness of Eurelec
Who you are :
Fluent in German and English, in addition to that, fluency or knowledge in French would be a distinctive competitive advantage
First successful work experience in the FMCG industry on the retail or supplier side, preferably in purchasing
Passionate about getting things right with a natural start-up attitude
A self-starter not afraid to question the status quo and to take the initiative to bring your ideas to life with a can-do attitude
Excellent relationship builder with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Operates well under pressure, finding solutions and resolving issues with minimal impact to internal and external stakeholders
Highly organised and detailed approach to your daily work, time management and reporting
University educated, preferably in business related studies
Very good command of Microsoft Office is requested
