Our client is located near Mechelen. Their team of 150 IT people is looking for a new colleague.
The purpose of this position is to manage this competence center team and to develop a vision for the processes, methods and standards within this competence center.
Manages the human resources of the competence center in close collaboration with the HR department
Prepares and implements of a succession plan in the event of the departure of an employee
Manages the documentation and sharing of knowledge within the competence center
Evaluates the performance objectives and the individual performance of the employees within the competence center, coaches and guides the employees individual performance
Schedules the necessary resources based on the tactical IT plan and manages the sourcing model within the competence center
Determines the necessary IT resources based on the tactical IT plan with a time horizon of 3 months
Adjusts and aligns the IT organization with the desired IT sourcing model
Monitors and evaluates the IT sourcing model
Operational responsibility for the follow-up of service contracts within the competence center
Provides staffing within the competence center
Allocates resources to the projects
Follows-up of the employees within the competence center
Defines and identifies the core competencies
Provides the necessary backups of these core competencies
Identify which resources have the core competencies and ensure that they are sufficiently available
Identifies the training needs
Is responsible for monitoring and the quality of the processes
Ensures the development and maintenance of processes
Provides training for all stakeholders within the organization with regard to these processes
Periodically evaluates the processes based on the defined KPIs; the documentation; the tooling; drafts improvement proposals and communicates them to management;
Provides process control and quality control of processes
Periodically provides the management with progress reports on the processes and results
Assesses the progress of the processes and checks whether all mandatory documents are present
Defines the methods and standards and supports the operational elaboration of it
Defines the technology framework in collaboration with the Architecture department and the expert in his team
Supports the further development of this technology framework within the organization
Defines the methods in collaboration with the Architecture department
Supports the further development of these methods within the organization
Defines the tools within the competence center in collaboration with the Architecture department and the expert in his team
Supports the further development of these tools within the organization
Supports quality management
Supports the development, maintenance and communication of the quality plan and quality management standards within the competence center
Drafts the quality improvement plan and monitors implementation
Supports risk management
Monitors the strategic objectives and the required IT alignment
Defines the IT objectives for the competence center within the risk context
Captures the possible responses to identified risks
You have a Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
You have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
You are an experienced people manager
You have experience with frameworks, standards, techniques and methods of estimation, planning, project management and development
You have a driving license B
Experience in software testing
You can read, speak and write Dutch fluently
