What you'll be doing
Lead the solution and service work stream activity for large, complex deals and be accountable for the end-to-end technical, operational and delivery designs.
Ensure the solutions are aligned with the deal strategy and with the business outcomes that the client and BT are trying to achieve.
Work with BT Global Front Office teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and documented and where not, develop and document assumptions and decisions accordingly.
Documenting traceability of requirements within your solutions to bespoke and non-standard components of the design with commercial implications of these requirements.
Ensure that solutions for which you are accountable have been through the relevant governance, compliance, assurance processes (with functional approvals where necessary) and ensure risks are identified and mitigated through appropriate framework.
Manage the ongoing engagement of BT Global internal stakeholders, strategic partners and suppliers within the solutions development process.
Provide leading expertise of the BT Global portfolio capabilities into the most high impact and / or high risk qualified opportunities based on personal knowledge and experience.
Act as a senior leader within matrix BT Global bid teams, have the ability to provide high quality presentations on BT Global and bid specific capabilities to senior customer stakeholder groups.
Work proactively to ensure that the solutions for which you are responsible are based on Repeatable Solutions, standard product elements & reusable proposition.
Using design patterns & reference architectures as appropriate for all solution activities.
Ensure that the solution costs accurately reflect the approved solution design and that such costs have been optimised wherever possible using BT processes (e.
g. Access Optimisation, benchmarking with Procurement).
Work with the WB solution team, DDSO, product teams to apply lessons learnt from other bids, deliveries and capture and share your learnings with the teams.
Work with the DDSO Delivery Lead to ensure that delivery plans align with the solution design, define achievable KoP milestones, creation of resource models and that any key delivery risks are highlighted & understood.
Responsible for a smooth and successful hand over in to deliver, ensuring that the KoP milestones are achieved and customer experience is maintained with DDSO CSP / CSD.
Accountable for the creation of contractually documents relating to the solution and attend contract negotiations with customers.
Act as a mentor and coach for more junior members of the team in support of personal development, developing talent in the wider organisation and supporting the development of high performance teams.
Work proactively within the Winning Business community to collaborate, share learnings and identify and implement improvements across the team that will assist us in being more successful.

Deep and proven expertise in the development of technical and operational solutions for global corporations and complex multi-
channel commercial enterprises.
Significant expertise in the BT Global portfolio and the value propositions it provides to customers in BT Global vertical markets.
Deep understanding of Service frameworks (e.g. ITIL) with a proven history of design development that can delivery service improvement.
Demonstrate commercial acumen with ability to understand commercial levers in the solution, create TCO / ROI models, show commercial benefits of your solution and create commercial models showing the changes (+ / -
in the proposed design.
Strong and proven experience in key business processes and is able to interpret customers business and strategy into opportunities for BT Global.
Experience leading and / or working at a senior level in large team(s) working in a matrixed environment both geographically and functionally.
Outstanding stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present competently and powerfully to customer at the CxO level.
Passion for learning and maintaining industry knowledge on the latest trends and innovation as a subject matter expert in your field.
