Your role &
amp; work environment
As an Advisory Customer Journey Expert (CJE) for KYC Services you are responsible for developing, managing, harmonizing and phasing out customer journeys (end-to-end client processes concerning commercial products, services, channel formulas, etc.)
As part of the KYC Services Tribe you work to build a safe society by preventing and fighting financial crime. You translate KYC policies and guidelines in journeys in collaboration with stakeholders throughout the entire bank in order to meet that purpose in a dynamic environment where the implementation of new technologies are key.
Your key responsibilities
Take the role of Product Owner
Defines vision for the squad / strategic tasks
Improves the way of working in a structural manner
Carries out long-term coaching of Customer Journey Expert colleagues
Driving & delivering change
Monitors the planning, budget and requirements / needs
Builds and maintains strategic networks of internal and external stakeholders and uses these in anticipation of the current and future needs of ING
Comes to an agreement with key people in various parts of the ING organisation in Belgium and abroad and / or with key people outside of ING
Strategy & Policy
Acquires profound understanding of the ING KYC Policy and how it impacts our customers in order to create the best possible journeys for them
Makes a contribution to the strategy and policy regarding the development of customer journeys which fall within the scope of the tribe
Turning regulatory constraints and obligations into digital opportunities to delight customer experience

As an Advisory Customer Journey Expert in KYC you will also need :
Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience
Proven planning and organizational skills. Project management experience is an asset.
Strong stakeholder management skills
Independently deals with improving the team's way of working, draws up (strategic) priorities and develops and improves working procedures
Appeals to a superior and colleagues for solving problems relating to the most complex issues and for discussing strategic choices
Strong analytical skills : analyse very complex developments within the field
Strong communication skills : written and oral
Ability to translate the long term vision into concrete actions
Fluent in English. Dutch or French is an asset
Experience, knowledgeable on KYC (know your customer) policies for financial institutions is a plus
