Roles & Responsibilities :
In this challenging role you are responsible for the engineering & project management of our chemical water treatment dosing, measurement & control portfolio in primarily Belgium, Central Eastern Europe (Hungary, Poland, Czech Rep, Slovakia and Croatia) and , Nordic (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland), with occasional travel to support other regions in North-East Europe.
You provide electrical & mechanical solutions with support of team members and work directly with the commercial & service teams and our customers.
The Equipment Solutions Project Engineer is a professional service provider who is a self-starter and keeps calm stressful situations.
Specific responsibilities include :
Comply with integrity and safety as required by SUEZ policies
Comply with all SUEZ WTS quality standards and initiatives
Issue data processing à customer reporting
Second line trouble shooting
Management of Repairs / Maintenance / Warrantee
Costing of maintenance contracts
Contractor supervision / follow-up of subcontractors and partners
Request price quotations & negotiation with vendors (suppliers and subcontractors)
Contacts & support negotiations with customers
Engineering of chemical water treatment storage & dosing facilities
Engineering of chemical water treatment dosing, monitoring & control automation
Price quotation (costing and technical description for proposal)
Project scoping, costing and co-ordination
Equipment Start up and Commissioning
Provide technical training to customer / employees
Participation in Piloting and Field trials when required
Travel outside of the geographic area when needed
Participating in the local team meetings to share best practices
Qualifications preferred to do this role :
The candidate has an engineering degree in electro- and / or mechanical engineering and / or process technology.
Excellent communication skills, fluency in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing. French and / or Polish and / or Hungarian are a plus.
Time management & project management skills.

Experience preferred to do this role :
3 5 years’ experience in project management and / or electro-mechanical projects
Skills preferred to do this role :
Knowledge and proven ability in the execution of long-term service agreements.
Sound knowledge of relevant conditions of contract, including subcontracting and purchasing.
Contract risk analysis and risk mitigation.
Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, including demonstrated ability in contract drafting and preparation of reports and contractual correspondence
Understanding of HSE regulations and HSE policies in industrial environment. Capable of putting in place HSE policies and systems within the project framework;
capable of motivating safe behavior.
Interacts well with external and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of water and process treatment technologies.
