YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the Logistics and warehouse operations with serveral locations within EMEAIn collaboration with the global compliance team, responsible for customs and all import and export declarationsSupport the strategic development of the logistic footprint of the regionLead of the logistics team and its regional leadersLead strategic initiatives to improve and increase our service level while increasing cost efficience and customers satisfactionAnalyzing data to support decision making for managementWorking closely with the Global logistics team to align related processes inside the EMEA regionYou work closely with the PAC team, sales support team, unit forecasting team and commercial team.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSUniversity, business school or technical school degree in economics, engineering or similarMinimum 10 years of professional experience in similar environmentVery good experience in logistics and warhouse operationsStrong team playerExperience in leading multicutlural teams of minimum 10 peopleExperience in working in a global companyGood analytical skillsFluent in English - other language skills are a plusGood communication and presentation skillsHigh degree of ownership & self-initiativeOrganized, accurate and results orientedThis position is based in Ghent, Belgium.
