About the role With a recent fundraising of 80 million euros with Goldman Sachs and Eurazeo, Malt is expanding its activities into the Benelux and other European countries.
We’re currently opening an office in Brussels. As part of the initial launch team we are looking for a Business Developer to help implement and scale the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team launching Belgium in the early stage of the adventure. As Business Developer Intern, you will work with both Head of Community and our Sales Business Developers to collect precious market insights and close first projects.
This internship will give you a 360 view of Malt contacting freelancers and companies.
As a business developer, Your mission will be
Hunt to find and attract new clients using different tools and strategies
Onboard new clients and users , ensure they understand the products and benefits of Malt
Support clients in their search for freelancers, help them discover the best profiles and get the best out of our services
Work closely with the sales and community teams in France to find the right freelance profiles
Collect and communicate the needs and requirements of the Belgium freelancers to the global product, marketing and operations teams
Work on other projects (KPI's reporting, Operations, Growth)
Being hands-on, ready to help and go the extra mile to launch Belgium as well as challenge your priorities with a strong business mindset will be key for success!If everything goes well, you will be able to continue the Malt adventure with a permanent contract directly after your internship !
Preferred experience
You want to learn about the driving strategy and operations of successful startups
You’re completing your Bachelor in business, management or any other related department and willing to do a minimum of 6 months of internship
You speak French and have a good level in English. Dutch is a plus but not a prerequisite
You are proactive, independant and eager to learn and acquire new skills
You have great social skills and are not afraid to reach out to people by email or phone
You have an analytical mindset, you love to measure and improve your performance
You have excellent communication skills and you are obsessed with spelling and grammar
You have great organizational and project management skills, you never miss an appointment
