We are looking for a hungry sales professional to join our sales department. You will actively find and develop the relationship with new customers with the perspective on how our solutions can help them evolve their freight procurement process using best-
in-class digital SaaS software. You will take the commercial responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction.
You can showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills from the freight buyer up to senior management. You should also act proactively to identify customers’ needs and address them with our SaaS solutions to facilitate the sale process from beginning to the end.
Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-customer relationships at a very high standard.
Manage your sales portfolio and know your customers
Act as the commercial point of contact for customers
Organize regular customer meetings to discuss their requirements
Ensure problems are resolved and handle complaints in a timely manner
Identify new potential customers in agreed verticals
Work closely with the regional Customer Success Manager to deliver best-in-class customer service and results
Ensure that budget and KPI requirements are met
Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches
Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and updates in your market
Establish best practices in sales and in freight procurement
Monitor and report on sales performance analytics
Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience
Proven work experience as a Sales account executive in freight
Hands on experience with freight sales and / or freight procurement across several modalities (ocean, air, road, parcel)
An ability to grasp customers’ needs and to generate customer engagement
Solid knowledge of SaaS in general and CRM / procurement software and MS Office (Excel)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Analytical and time-management skills
BSc degree in Business Administration, Logistics or relevant field
Fluent in Dutch, French and English (written and spoken). Additional language skills are a plus.
