Their 16 car supermarkets evenly spread over Belgium, are open 7 days a week. Potential customers can view all their cars online 24 hours a day.
Cardoen update their stock every hour, so customers always have an overview of the entire stock.
Cardoen employs 110 people. 7 of the 16 car supermarkets are led by franchisees, employing an additional 60 to 70 people.
Cardoen is headquartered in Wilrijk and has a revenue of approximately 160 million euros. They sell more than 13.000 cars on a yearly basis.
As of May 2018 Cardoen is part of Aramis Auto, a European player active in online sales of 2nd hand cars. Majority shareholder of Aramis is PSA, the group behind known brands as Peugeot, Citroën and Opel.
Aramis employs 500 people and sold 40000 cars in 2018.
Monthly financial reporting to management and shareholders;
Reporting and analysis of financial flows (cash flow, working capital, Capex, cash flow planning );
Monthly reporting of KPIs (financial and operational);
Act as a business partner , think and act beyond operational reporting : challenge the business, put in place required governance between business and finance (Cash committee, Margin Committee, )
Develop a financial policy in line with the business strategy and group strategy from France;
Supervising of the accounting department (6 people);
Final responsibility for all legal formalities (VAT, taxes, legal publications, );
Organization and follow-up of budgets and forecasting;
Management of insurance and legal files;
Initiate and monitor internal risk management;
Maintain relationships with banks;
Cost-benefit analyses, ROI analyses, pre- and post-calculations of projects and investments;
Coordinate and organize internal and external audits;
Strive for efficiency improvements in administrative processes;
Knowledge and experience :
Master Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience;
Practical thorough knowledge of accounting; experience in audit is a plus;
Experienced in working capital reporting, cash flow and KPI’s;
Relevant experience in similar environments (e.g. : retail, e-commerce or leasing);
Smooth use of Microsoft Office specialized knowledge of Excel;
Excellent command of Dutch and French with a good knowledge of English;
