We are offering a challenging function within our Contract Logistics Operational Key Account Management (OKAM) team in Campus Kempen.

As an OKAM you are an important contact for the customer and for the Kuehne+Nagel organization on an operational and commercial level.

You are assigned to one or more customers to coordinate and improve the ongoing the logistics activities. This includes the full responsibility for implementing new activities, problem solving and innovation in current logistic activities together with the operational team.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Monitoring and coordinating the full Kuehne+Nagel operations in terms of performance, standard operating procedures and reporting for the customer in close cooperation with the operational management.
  • Organizing and monitoring the communication on various levels and the various contacts between customer and Kuehne+Nagel.
  • Included regularly organize meetings (MBR and QBR) with customers and Kuehne+Nagel operations to present performance reports (KPI's) and get information from the customer about future challenges and plans.

  • Coordinate the complete implementation including the communication and document the entire implementation plan, operational plan, procedures and service KPI's in accordance with KN operations for new customers.
  • Implement and maintain account plan (communication structure, contacts overview, timing contract negotiations / renewal , ...)
  • Troubleshooting where necessary
  • Focus on continuous improvement in order to improve on a constant basis the performance and operations
  • Your skills and experience

  • 3-5 years experience in delivering customer service and negotiations with Key Accounts in the logistics business.
  • Bachelor degree in international logistics or equal level by experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of logistic activities
  • MS Office and other IT skills : advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Language skills : English, Dutch, excellent speaking and writing.
  • You can deliver excellent customer service towards customers and colleagues all over the world, you have good organizing skills and you can work accurately.
  • You have experience in service and negotiation.
  • You are hands-on to go and find information within the organisation and different systems.
