Function
As a member of the SMT Finance department, you will report to the Head of Controlling and will be in charge of reviewing monthly closing and reporting of your subsidiaries.
You will manage the key performance indicators as well as coordinate the annual budget and bi-annual forecast process
As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for the following tasks for the Group or your subsidiaries :
Responsible for the analysis of the monthly reporting package, of the key financial ratios for your countries
Active involvement in the monthly closing work with local team as well as with audit teams
Coordinate the budget and forecast process of your subsidiaries
Bring financial expertise and support to your perimeter and be in charge of the treasury and working capital management
Be a real business partner to the financial teams in your countries
Your visits to Africa will help you to better assess and manage the risks linked to our activity
Be an ambassador of the Group’s policies as well as for the continuous improvement of accounting and business control procedures
Perform internal audit missions
Profile
You prerably hold a Master degree in Finance / Accounting / Audit or have equivalent through experience
You have several years of relevant professional experience
You ideally also have a previous experience with audit
Good expertise of Windows Office suite
Good knowledge of financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus)
Independent with true team spirit
Persistent and rigorous
Able to deal with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
Professional in his / her relationship
Teaching & listening skills in order to fully support the local finance teams
You are willing to travel to Africa
