Job Summary
Your main responsibility as Operational Type Engineer is to ensure operational support in an airworthy controlled framework.
Your objectives are :
Ensures the timely airworthiness status of the helicopters to enable a valid CofA
Contribute to the increase in aircraft availability and safety of NHV operation
Respons. & areas
Act as a primary Liaison from the CAMO with the P-145 operational team for the fleet assigned and act as a link with the different TC holders.
Work together as a team with the Airworthiness Type Engineer for the assigned fleet, e.g. implementation of AD / SB’s, when modifications are required, info for upcoming tenders is needed or when support for the ARC staff is necessary during their reviews.
Follow the procedures established by the CAMO in order to perform defect control and AOG support.
Support base maintenance on the assigned fleet by following up non-routines, review of approved repair data, work order preview and review.
Work closely together with maintenance and production planning for base maintenance across multiple AOC’s
Assist in AMP issue / verification
Experience
Licenced Part 66 engineer or Master’s Degree in Engineering (aviation) or equivalent through experience;
Relevant CAMO experience would be an advantage.
Skills
ICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office, Rusada Envision or similar)
Languages : English
Knowing and playing by the procedures & processes (operational, quality, safety, ) installed by the company
Ability to communicate / report clearly and effectively with all layers in organizations and with suppliers.
Ability to make analyses, pro-actively propose areas of improvement, take initiatives, solution driven.
In depth knowledge of the relevant continuing airworthiness standards
