Why are we looking for a real-time process manager ?
To support growth, as a Real-time Process Manager you ensure, together with the real-time manager, an optimal working of the real-
time dispatching centre in order to realise the long term Lineas strategy and contribute to the modal shift, this with a clear focus on quality and regulations.
You ensure that the dispatching centre in Brussels is leading in major process changes for the international dispatching organisations
You are the strategic motor for change within your team : you co-define & are co-responsible for the implementation of change projects required to implement the company’s strategy.
You will be the process owner and end responsible for the Lineas quality processes. Concretely you will :
Facilitate and monitor the Daily, Weekly and monthly Quality Meetings (MQM)
Create reporting’s about these two platforms according to the needs and demands of stakeholders + MQM
Develop & track KPIs in order to measure the performance of the platforms
Based on analysis out of the quality platforms, identify the right levers to focus on to improve quality, provide insights to Operational Management and track improvements.
Ensure there is a link with performance management and general quality KPI’s
Be proactive and creative to improve the platforms in order to maximize the added value of Lineas quality processes
Be an ambassador and communicate about the quality processes and its results and make sure they are followed properly
Set up of feedback loops within the organisation to improve quality at the base of the products
Continuously capture inputs and communicate the results of the quality process within the real time (RT) team
Regulation & document management
You will have to make sure that the people in real-time (RT) always are able to have the required documentation to do their job in an optimal way. Concretely you will :
Ensure that processes for real time deviation management are available and continuously kept up to date including possible required work instructions for the real time (RT) organisation.
Translate the necessary regulation, received from driver’s regulation & stations regulations towards the people working in real-
time and making sure everybody is able to find and understand these documents.
Make sure document management is done within the real-time organisation and everybody knows where to find the data required.
Chase within the organisation to find the necessary data
Support the organisation to fill in the required documents
You will be the owner of the training process within the RT organisation. You will have to :
Ensure that all people working in RT are able to follow the necessary trainings
Enable sufficient training abilities
Follow up that the trainings are adequate for the real-time organisation
Follow up that the people in real time have the right competences to perform their day to day job
Operational support :
If required being able to support the RT organisation with fulfilling operational tasks, after having received the necessary training.
Project management :
Strategic motor for implementing change within the real-time organisation
Co-define required business requirements
Innovation within the RT organisation
Continuously look to improvements - based on best practices within the transport’ sector
Stakeholder management :
you actively promote collaboration with the direct stakeholders of the real-time organisation
you co-define processes for an E2E dispatching organisation (including First Mile / Last Mile / Long Haul and international dispatching centres)
You manage the real time in order to manage & develop the individual skill to improve the wellbeing at work
You develop your soft and hard skills to become a senior leader within Lineas.
Master in logistics, engineering or applied economics or relevant experience
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a Supply Chain environment
Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English (German is a plus)
Pro-active, stress-resilient, pragmatic, result-oriented
Well organised and able to prioritise in a context of changing priorities
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Have an eye for critical details but do not forget the big picture
Team player and like to work with other people
