Contributes in Information Architecture to support project, team, and department objectives.
Establishes and executes Information Architecture guidelines based on usability experience, research and industry best practices.
Essential position responsibilities :
Develops the architecture, which serves as the blueprint for the different websites and other solutions consuming the information.
Defines content organization and navigation systems.
Creates site maps, process flows, page flows, use cases, wireframes and related documentation.
Establishes Information Architecture guidelines.
Works with cross-functional teams to make specific and actionable recommendations based on research findings, business needs and technical limitations.
Provides training and technical guidance to peers, when and where appropriate
Nature and scope :
Contributes to shaping the vision for the overall website organization, as well as the back office components.
Establishes a baseline of information flows and define improvements.
Master's degree preferred, ideally in one of the following fields : computer sciences, engineering.
5+ years' experience in related fields : Database architecture / administration, application design; with a minimum of 2 years as an architect.
In-depth knowledge of at least one database technology.
Good understanding of SQL and noSQL databases
A good knowledge of TOGAF methodology, Archimate (or any standard modelling language) is a plus.
Very good understanding of business process modeling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
Effective time management.
Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, both technical and non-technical
Strong interpersonal communications and relationship skills
Ability to manage multiple activities in a dynamic environment
Acts independently, as well as within the team, to improve and increase skills and knowledge
