As HR Manager, you will be part of the local Management Team and report to the Global HR Director.

Description

As HR Manager, your responsibilities will include :

  • Provide advice to managers / employees in relation to HR & HR legal matters
  • Proactively manage the trade union relationship
  • Ensure and continually maintain a performance management culture within the site
  • Manage the career development of employees, ensuring key talent have career development plans
  • Guide managers on how to manage performance of employees and take relevant action
  • Drive employee engagement and partner with the management team to run workshops and support management to drive agreed action plans
  • Responsible for the achievement of monthly HR KPI's and ensuring action plans are achieved
  • Design and deliver training workshops in areas of HR best practice, to enhance knowledge and skills within the leadership team
  • Support the Group HR Director with change management programs in order to ensure standardization of HR practices
  • Ensure all administrative HR tasks appointments, terminations and variations of employment are completed accurate and timely;
  • maintain manual and computerized HR information systems

  • Advise and support managers on recruitment and selection
  • Co-ordinate and implement the induction programme for new starters
  • Profile

    Who are we looking for? An HR Manager with :

  • About 8 years' experience
  • Excellent, verbal, written and oral communication skills
  • French and English speaking
  • Ability to influence people at all levels
  • Ability to work through problems and find solutions using own initiative
  • Organizational skills - able to juggle several tasks at the same time and prioritize effectively
  • Commitment to equal opportunities
  • Able to establish credibility and rapport with management and employees
  • Solid understanding of Belgium Employment law practices
  • Understanding of best practice in HR
  • Preferably experience in a manufacturing environment (not essential)
  • People development and performance improvement
  • Experience of running successful employee engagement initiatives
