What you will do

Carry out the operations in compliance with all applicable laws and legal requirements and Tetra Pak and Code of Business Conduct, Core Values, policies, procedures and guidelines and implement appropriate controls to secure early detection of any potential non-compliance

Implement a strategy for mechanical engineering which meets business needs

Drive resource and competence planning to match the long and short term business needs

Define operational standards and procedures in cooperation with other areas within Business Sector and Business Stream Cheese

Develop a cooperative, high performing team in the different locations where we operate

Contribute to decision-making around technical / business issues

Budget responsibility for the mechanical engineering team

Build up close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in Business Sector, Business Stream Cheese, Central functions and in Markets.

We believe you have

Degree in engineering with a natural interest for mechanics and production processes

Minimum 10 years of practical experience working as engineer in food industry or mechanical design

Minimum 8 years of people management experience with engineers.

Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)

Good understanding about production solutions of Business Stream Cheese is preferable

Proven leadership experience, motivating and coaching direct reports

Solid team coordination and project coordination experience

Ability to motivate a team of engineers under demanding timelines

Contractual and commercial awareness

Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels across boundaries and manage their expectations

Strong analytical skills, a high level of business understanding and strategic thinking

Open-minded and proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills

Ability to perform and deliver accurate and timely results under pressure.

Willingness to travel approximately 15 - 30% of the time

Use to lead teams in various locations and cultures

Fluent knowledge of English, written and spoken
