For Procurement in Kallo, we are looking for a purchasing officer
YOUR CHALLENGE as Purchasing Officer :
The Purchasing Officer is responsible for the complete buy & supply process of all non-complex purchase requests.
As Purchasing Officer you are the first point of contact and will support the technical and maintenance departments on all their purchase requests.
You are expected to liaise with them to define tender assessment criteria. You are able to calculate and register achieved savings following ENGIE’s rules.
You take the initiative to look for service improvements by collaborating with the purchase departments at the other sites.
The Purchasing Officer supports the Head of Purchasing WKK in the development of his annual purchasing plan and in his management of supplier relationships.
You are able to perform supplier qualifications.
The Purchasing Officer is part of the Procurement Team WKK and reports directly to the Head of Purchasing WKK.
YOUR PROFILE as Purchasing Officer
You have a bachelor diploma or equivalent through experience
You have administrative skills and affinity with purchasing and technique.
You have strong interpersonal skills.
Your mother tongue is Dutch and you are able to speak and write French. Active use of English is preferable since most of the job aids and procedures are established in English and some meetings are held in English.
You are able to plan and organize your work.
Preferably you have more than 3 years buyer experience. Pluses are knowledge of SAP, basic technical knowledge of the energy sector and knowledge of negotiation techniques.
As Purchasing Officer you have a strong safety and environmental awareness. You always take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues!
