What we are looking for
We currently have one vacancy for a 6-month internshipposition as of September 2020, with the possibility of obtaining a permanentcontract.
The aim of the internship is to offer an insight in how itis to practice antitrust law at Clifford Chance.
The lawyers in our competition / antitrust practice assistclients with merger clearance matters, when necessary through phase II and inthe European Courts, as well as complex abuse of dominance and cartelinvestigations, and provide compliance advice.
They also assist governments andinstitutions in the context of state aid notifications and investigations.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have an excellent academic record, ademonstrable interest in practicing competition law, be business minded andclient focused, and be completely fluent in written and spoken English.
They should also have a good command of asecond European language. Experience incompetition law is a valuable asset. Candidates need not yet be EU qualifiedlawyers, but should have a clear path towards EU qualification.
We will only consider candidates with up to two years'experience.
