Your Responsibilities :
Drive an enterprise mindset and one GSK voice by engaging, equipping, and aligning leaders around the GSK and Vaccines strategy via multiple channels.
Ensure high engagement and commitment to the Vaccines strategy and culture change using leaders as a key lever.
Help drive better performance, strengthen resilience and energize the organization, and to move from a broad, uncontrolled flow of communication to a more focused and targeted flow.
Design, develop and execute the Vaccines leadership communications strategy in collaboration with other members of the Strategy & Executive Communications team and functional business partners
Provide leaders with content that enables them to engage across the organization
Actively engage with comms business partners across functions to support them in engaging and aligning their functional audiences with respect to execution of key communications strategies around the GSK and Vaccines strategy.
Partner as well to understand opportunities to improve commitment to the strategy at all levels, encouraging both top-down and bottom-up communication.
Draw from the way the Vaccines communications team listens and analyses the voice of the business and use the learnings to drive future communications strategies.
Provide proactive strategic advice and counsel to Vaccines senior leaders to help develop the communications skills of our senior leadership team in effect leading to increased commitment to our strategy and how we execute it.
Ensure the Vaccines business has a voice across the broader GSK organization, proactively partnering with colleagues at the corporate level
Design programs that help leaders develop communications skills (in effect leading to increased engagement of employees)

Basic qualifications : Academic degree
Minimum 5 previous experience in communications and / or driving strategy / operations preferably across disciplines (internal communications, media relations, issues management).
Very strong writing skills
Proven experience of developing, implementing and measuring engagement strategies and programmes to support achievement of business objectives.
The individual will need to be able to lead and deliver results in a complex environment. They will also need to be able to effectively draw upon team strengths to design, implement and measure programs.
Extensive matrix working, influencing and leadership skills, with ability to convey a compelling vision and inspire others to achieve it.
Proven track record of advising and driving strategic communications for senior leaders
Deep understanding of GSK’s strategic priorities, plans and culture, and the way in which messaging can be developed and deployed to maximum effect within the organisation
Confident stakeholder engagement and management
Excellent listening and analytical skills
Strong strategic planning skills
Ability to deliver and present high quality communications strategy and plans
Ability to identify and proactively mitigate potential issues, escalating where necessary
Ability to operate with the highest integrity and discretion
Ability to operate efficiently under pressure
Preferred qualifications :
Excellent English required / bi-lingual in French is an advantage.
Effective leadership capabilities and ability to provide strategic counsel for the delivery of transversal internal communications for the Vaccines business (transversal across global vaccines audience).
Excellent organisational skills, an ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines, and able to work calmly under pressure and pro-
actively plan for and lead multiple business needs.
Demonstrated confidence in challenging mind-sets, influencing leaders and developing / implementing innovative strategies and approaches to internal comms.
Project Management expertise preferred.
Must understand the Vaccines business as well as the other business units across GSK and how they interact with and relate to the larger Group, particularly with regard to communications and air traffic.
Recruit and manage permanent staff and contractors as required.
This person must operate successfully in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment with skilled judgment on the positioning and tone of sensitive and complex issues being essential.
This role must keep abreast of emerging technologies and communications ideas, both from inside and outside GSK, and assess how these can be leveraged to the best advantage
