We are looking for a Business Development Manager for the automotive market. This role will coordinate fast growing segments in 3D imaging and be responsible for managing and growing a hardware and software portfolio that delivers market share expansion.
The role is primarily to conduct lead generation activity and to generate a steady supply of new business leads and to develop relationships with known prospects.
The Business Development Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing and R&D teams.

Your responsibilities will include :
You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationship with OEMs, Tier 1s and partners.
You will develop, manage and implement business plans and marketing initiatives together with other internal stakeholders.
You will contribute to a strategy formulation and to define the optimum market approach.
You will serve as the lead point of contact for all customers account management matters.
You will develop good relationships with key customers for market research and design-in leading and align on roadmap for product area.
You will collaborate with other internal Sony group functions to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
You will support other internal Sony group team with NDAs, contract negotiation and closure.
You will clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work on the promotion, training, pricing and go-to-market strategies.
You will participate in tradeshows and industry conferences.
You have at least 5 years of experience with business project management or partner management role;
You have 4 or more years’ experience in account management or business development within automotive major tier1s;
You have a master’s degree in business, marketing or related field, with 5+ years of technical marketing / business development;
You have preferable experience in semiconductor, imager or computer vision;
You can source and develop new relationships through business development activities;
Fluency in German and English is a must;
You have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
You have strong interpersonal skills;
You have a high degree of personal commitment, focus, application and endeavor;
You are willing to travel for 20-25% of your time.
