We are currently looking for a Distribution Account Manager (DAM) in Benelux
In this role you will be responsible for managing and training authorized Distributors to sell company products and services in the Benelux.
You will be the representative of Fluke to these resellers with the objective to maximize revenue, partner engagement and end customer satisfaction.
Role and Responsibilities :
Achieves business revenue objectives by assigned reseller entity;
Identifies and pursues new business through effective management of reseller / distributor representative companies and associates;
Assures reps are educated on our products, delivering technical training and / or organizing seminars with the support of the Technical Sales department.
Drives promotions and execute marketing activities to achieve or exceed sales revenue targets;
Completes administrative reporting accurately and on time and accurately forecasts revenues.
Responsible for an average dollar quota / territory compared to the organization’s average quota;
Initiates customer contact / visits with existing and prospective customers. May act as lead in a team when presenting products / services to existing or prospective customers;
Track and monitors end-user customer satisfaction to generate and retain business.
Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the organization’s entire product line;
Establishes and maintains contacts and rapport with customers and prospects;
Operates under general supervision. Performs sales, service, and administrative tasks and procedures under self-direction.
Frequent travel in the Benelux and incidentally outside the region.
Bachelor Degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent;
Minimum of 5- years relevant sales experience. Experience in selling technical products through Distributor channels;
Experience in managing key accounts;
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop Distribution Channels;
Ability to analyse situations, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
Excellent sales and technical skills, autonomous for technical demonstrations;
Great time management skills;
Flexible and willing to adapt to new challenges as they occur.
Independent, pro-active and self-organized;
Fluent in English and Dutch. French will be appreciated.
Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to use them at several organizational levels;
Experienced in delivering seminars and doing public presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Preferably has knowledge and understanding of T&M or industrial / electrical product functioning and applications.
