Naturally you share the IKEA vision, values and culture. For this role you have university degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant working experience.
You bring 2-4 years working experience in supply chain on operational and / or tactical level, experience in developing business ideas and solutions, as well as experience working in a fast-
changing environment. You also bring with you knowledge and experience of meeting and interacting with various business partners, proven analytical and numerical skills and experience in developing and improving ways of working.
Furthermore you have very high computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. You have knowledge in following areas :
Good business understanding and excellent knowledge of Multichannel Network related IKEA processes, supply chain, warehousing operations and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment
Good knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets
Market & industry intelligence
Change management and leading in the unknown / exploring
Financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network
Knowledge of relevant IT solution landscapes associated with Customer Fulfilment As a person you have good collaborative mind-
set in building relationships across the organisation and influence and personal impact by using good communication and negotiation skills.
You have an end-to-end orientation and the ability to act within the global framework in order to achieve local / market / organisation goals.
You also have the ability to respond to business and customer needs by providing creative solutions. You naturally analyse and enable translation of business and customer needs into development initiatives and your analytical capability is strong.
The purpose of the role is to take the responsibility for a high-performing multichannel network on the market by :
Conducting multichannel network analysis and design
Compiling development needs and prioritisation
Preparing business cases and investment requests
Securing the necessary logistics capacities for the future You will contribute to the innovation and development of the multichannel network with a customer-
centric and collaborative approach in focus.In this role you will contribute to creating the right prerequisites in the organisation to enable the growth agenda and secure the group and market Customer Fulfilment agenda is translated into the Fulfilment Development and Multichannel Network organisation.You will be :
Responsible for implementing and applying globally developed tools, processes and ways of working in the market to enable the design, establishment and continuous development of an efficient, effective and end to end multichannel distribution network
Responsible for conducting fulfilment network design and create a roadmap for the market
Responsible for organising communication and reporting of progress towards all relevant stakeholders through all stages of the multichannel network development initiatives
Contribute to the investment requests process for new multichannel network establishment projects through supporting the evaluation and verification of the logistics concept before final investment request
Responsible for the network planning and network design process involving stakeholders from the total customer fulfilment group on the market, global matrix and retail stakeholders
Responsible for creating synergies by enabling common ways of working within the different fulfilment network related projects and make efficient use of common resources within customer fulfilment on the market and globally
Responsible for keeping the total picture of multichannel network projects together and synchronised on the market
Responsible for securing that the multichannel network concept is built on higher efficiency, better quality while having the totality of the multichannel network process in mind end-to-end
Responsible for the cooperation with key partners within and outside of retail while contributing with both knowledge and resources to optimal operational and multichannel development, sourcing activities as well as to all matrices, global and market initiatives and competence networks
Responsible to support the Market Multichannel Network Specialist with collection, compiling and structuring information and data that is required by the IKEA approved optimisation and modelling system (Supply Chain Guru) In this role you will report to the Multichannel Network Manager or Fulfilment Development and Multichannel Network Manager.
This role is located in Service Office Zaventem
