JOB DESCRIPTION :
For our Structural Heart Training Team, we are recruiting an EMEA Field & Customer Development Manager position.
Primary Job Function :
This field-based position is responsible for supporting Abbott’s commercial readiness for TriClip structural heart system and new Tricuspid Valve Repair System (TVRS) procedure through field and customer training to optimize procedural outcomes and efficiencies.
This position is EMEA geographically field-based and spends significant time in the field with customers. Strong leadership and teamwork skills are required.
The position requires experience and knowledge to integrate with clinical science, clinical operations, broader training group, global marketing, R&D, and other cross functional teams.
This position may also require project-based international travel for development of new device and procedure global training curriculum and programs.

Position Accountability / Scope
This position is accountable for building the TriClip Tricuspid Valve Repair System (TVRS) new therapy. Team members will collaborate with global KOLs, EMEA & US field proctors & training, clinical science and others to refine key learnings on patient selection for clipability and procedural approaches (steering and echo) to ensure TR reduction and durability of results for the TriClip CE launch.
Key learnings will be incorporated into product design, IFU updates, and training curriculum (both mandatory and supplemental).
Field-based customer interactions for training and challenge case diagnosis / solutions will also facilitate optimal clinical outcomes & efficiencies.
Minimum Experience / Training Required
Ten years of relevant work experience, including over 1 year of Abbott case proctoring experience in the Structural Heart for MitraClip.
Direct experience working with physician customers. A clinical background and / or strong clinical knowledge and aptitude.
Strong communication skills, specifically an ability to deliver effective training to large and small audiences. Ability to work with several levels within the organization and in cross functional teams.
Solid understanding and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices. Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
