Within JSC’s Planning & Customer Management team, we are looking for a Senior Director, Strategic Capacity Planning & Transfer Management
Purpose of the Position
The Senior Director Strategic Capacity Planning & Transfer Management establishes the mechanism to drive towards a consistent Sourcing Strategy for our product portfolio, leads the Strategic Capacity Management Process, as well as the Supply Chain Transfer Management activities resulting from the sourcing strategy.
This function works closely with various partners and must have the experience required to influence people at different levels of the organization (Internal Manufacturing, Partnership & External Supply, Network Management, Value Chain Management, Finance, etc.).
Ensure that best-in-class standardized and harmonized sourcing processes and tools are designed and deployed to guarantee optimal product sourcing, focusing on both internal as well as external manufacturing.
Provide E2E capacity visibility and transparency over the 3 to 10 year horizon across the internal and external manufacturing network.
Provide strategic insights and shape recommendations with key stakeholders to optimize the manufacturing network asset utilization, guaranteeing long term product availability to our patients.
Partner with Development / Clinical Supply and Value Chain to develop a view on the early development pipeline and assess the impact on future (existing and new) technology requirements.
Designing and deploying adequate planning processes to ensure timely product availability when preparing and implementing product transfers.
Lead and support the respective teams allowing them to be successful in their efforts.
A Master’s degree in a related field - engineering, logistics, supply chain, computing, finance, or economics is preferred.
Must possess a minimum of 15 years of proven experience in a logistics, planning and / or manufacturing environment, within the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Biologics or closely related industry.
Strong business insights to understand how decisions impact different parts of our supply chain.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required, as are the abilities to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies
Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels.
Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative
Good working knowledge of supply chains / global value chains.

Effective written and oral communication skills (English).
This role includes up to 15% travel.
