Overview

We are seeking an innovative, creative, and experienced Intern Signal Processing who is ready for the challenges, responsibilities, and rewards that come with working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As our signal processing in the cloud intern you will :

Not get coffee or make copies for your colleagues, but work on a fun and challenging project enabling you to take home some valuable experiences

Be allowed to share coffe with your colleagues

Implement several signal processing algorithms optimized for the cloud

Compare the performance with local algorithms and propose new ways for optimization

Work on conceptual, creative and hands-on level

Be able to participate in team events, technical discussions and shape the future of how the world connects

Be entitled to frequent and honest feedback

Proactively entice us with your creative ideas

Qualifications

As a prerequisite to become our signal processing in the cloud intern you :

Work towards a master’s degree in computer sciences / electronics-ICT / electrical engineering

Have at least a first experience in digital signal processing

Know at least one programming language (preferably C++ or Python)

Are an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude

Are conversational in English and / or Dutch

Can commit for a period of no less that 6 weeks

Are currently pursuing a degree of which the curriculum allows you to do an internship

Are a European passport holder

Once on board you will :

Be part of our PLT team based in our worldwide headquarters in Sint-Niklaas (Belgium)

Shape your internship based on your personal methodology and tools of interest

Work closely with satellite communication enthousiasts and be provided with the necessary tools and appropriate guidance

Have the opportunity to potentially combine your internship with a summer job
