The Interstitial LungDisease (ILD) Sales Consultant is responsible for implementing the BIPI ILDsales and marketing plans to assure maximum distribution and market penetrationof BIPI ILD products within BIPI guidelines, policies and directives.
The ILD Sales Consultant will conduct theirbusiness with key ILD Clinics and appropriate targetedPulmonologist / Rheumatologist / Radiologist / Advanced Practice Clinicians andAllied Healthcare Professionals.
Theincumbent will have additional responsibilities for sales activities inteaching and community hospitals, federal and military hospitals.
The SalesConsultant will manage a geography that may require overnight travel andoccasional night and weekend ILD meeting responsibilities.

Duties &Responsibilities :
He / she is valued by their customers as a consultative partner who understands and respects the ILD business and environment.
Executes brand strategies and business plans to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message. Establishes and maintains exceptional communication / cooperation / coordination with internal BIPI employees.
Builds valued discussion around ILD HCP needs and opportunities. Fosters ILD HCP network development and communication. Has accurate and timely follow-
up discussions with ILD HCP. Fosters ongoing trust with ILD HCP as relationship develops. Excels at using appropriate BIPI Sales Training techniques which supports and encourages technical exchange of scientific knowledge and dialogue thereby providing enhanced value to the HCP through facilitation of individual patient management and therapy decision making process.
The ILD Sales Consultant II and Sr. ILD Sales Consultant provides expert identification of key territory ILD business needs and activities, establishes business plans that address comprehensive ILD territory business needs and identifies and supports regional business needs through active involvement of Associate Director, Marketing team, Clinical Educator, Access and Distribution Managers, Key Account Managers, and other BI Internal support personnel in the development, management and accomplishment of key Territory business opportunities.
Develops plans to maximizeRegional and National Speaker and other regional sales and marketing programs.Adjusts implementation plans on a regular basis (speaker development andmanagement, advocate development, etc.
Creates opportunities that meet bothterritory and brand tactics. Utilizessales data and supporting analysis to plan activity, monitors literature use,and maintains account and ILD HCP records.
Completes all administrative responsibilities in a timely fashion asdirected by management. Successfullycompletes all Sales Training requirements.
The ILD Sales Consultant II and Sr. ILD Sales Consultant providesexpert analysis of territory information to optimize ILD HCP calls.
Monitorsand effectively reacts to local market conditions for changes that impactbusiness at territory level. Utilizes VEEVA and other BI supporting analysisprocesses to plan activity, monitors literature use, and maintain account andILD HCP records.
Provides regionalleadership through successful and timely completion all Sales Trainingrequirements.This individual will alsoserve as a mentor to ILD Sales Consultant I and II, in training and educatingthem on total office call, budgeting, customer centricity, career pathsavailable within the region as well as assistants in identifying payer andcustomer trends within respective geography.
Provides appropriate feedback and follow-up to ILDspeakers and attendees. Develops realistic plans to develop speakers andthought leaders.

Determines how to efficiently and effectively utilize Regional and Nationalspeakers and company resources by pro-actively working with Associate Directorand Key Account Manager.
TheILD Sales Consultant II and Sr. ILD Sales Consultant manages territory budget.Supports the development of Regional and Territory ILD thought leaders,innovators and advocates to support BIPI ILD products.
He / she assist indetermining how to efficiently utilize Regional and National Speakers and othercompany resources in their territory by pro-
actively working with AssociateDirector of Sales. Provides appropriate feedback and follow-up to ILD speakersand attendees.
Initiates contacts and network-building among advocates and ILDHCPs. Expertly manages programs and budgets to stay within BI ILD standards.
Determines how to efficiently and effectively utilize company resources toinclude Regional and National speakers by pro-actively working with BI ILDLeadership and Marketing teams.

While serving as a ILD consultant, encourages and receives requests fromcustomers for expert technical information outside of standard visits therebydeveloping trust and subsequent value with ILD customers.
TheILD Sales Consultant II and Sr. ILD Sales consultant demonstrates complete andexceptional knowledge of BIPI ILD products and related marketplace, effectivetranslation of product knowledge into the sales presentation and is customerfocused with a priority directed towards providing solutions based customerinteractions.
Delivers exemplary level of clinical and technical value tohis / her customers, assisting the health care customer in meeting their uniquepatient care needs, all within BI regulatory guidelines.
Provides expert understanding of the DSIDpayer landscape. As a trusted ILD Sales Consultant II, encourages and receivesrequests from customers for expert technical information outside of standardvisits.
