Summary

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing a group of our TMS (Transport Management Systems) software products.

Together with the Head Product Manager, you will take care of describing the product definition and value proposition, describing the product vision, roadmap and strategy as well as helping to manage the full product lifecycle.

You will be the driving force in applying user-centered design’ methods. Within this role, you will be the bridge within our company, interacting with the product management team, business analysts, project managers, marketing, sales, customer care and IT.

Your role

  • Manage the product lifecycle, product roadmap, and drive innovation;
  • Understand the market and the users, and define the product vision, value position, strategy and roadmap;
  • Work with a multidisciplinary and cross-departmental team according to agile workflows;
  • Create and manage the product knowledge base;
  • Coordinate internal product training and communications to internal stakeholders;
  • Participate in the staging in order to verify that developments are in line with the requirements
  • Organize (and follow up on) the user acceptance testing (UAT) with some customers in close collaboration with segment marketing & marketing communications;
  • Brief on the content to marketing operations for producing the product;
  • Follow up on market trends, market research, and reports;
  • Serve as a solution expert dealing with customers, sales and technology / business partners;
  • Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience working as a product manager in a technology or supply chain / logistics environment;
  • Strong knowledge and background in logistics / supply chain;
  • A strong understanding of the Agile methodology and experience in working in an agile environment;
  • Knowledge of SAP and how it is used in transportation planning and execution;
  • Marketing affinity, preferably within product marketing, project and vendor management, or a strong customer-facing background with an important focus on products;
  • Experience in creating business, functional and user requirements and applying user-centered design’ principles;
  • Affinity with user experience aspects such as information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability, interaction, and visual design;
  • Experience working with JIRA;
  • You are fluent in English;
  • You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams;
  • You have the capacity to translate user feedback into implementation throughout the product lifecycle;
  • You are customer-oriented and have experience with sales and customer contacts;
  • You thrive in a dynamic fast-paced and changing environment;
  • You have a real entrepreneurial mindset, you are self-driven, passionate and you love to work independently, whilst being a strong team player.
