As Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to :
Have a focus on Education & Awareness
Develop the strategy & define the priorities
Define the action plan to achieve the mission of education for global & solidarity citizenship of the organization
Raise the necessary funding (by submitting calls for projects & solicit grant applications) you need to achieve the mission with schools & young people
Develop a strong network with partners within the education sector to design & improve the teaching materials (incl. digital ones)
Coordinate the development & deployment of all the educational material - from its creation to its availability
Develop new partnerships & projects
Collaborate with teachers & competent authorities
Develop programs for the network of volunteers in Belgium (recruitment, communication, coaching, support, etc.)
Develop, manage & follow the budget
The successful candidate will have the following qualities :
Fluent in Dutch, French, English
At least 5 years of experience, preferably in communication within a sector related to education & teaching
Proven track record in project management
Ability to activate the right levers & manage various types of stakeholders
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, keep an overview & structure the work
Strong interest in digital learning methods
Experience in working (& recruiting) volunteers is a strong asset
Autonomous & team working mindset
Positive, curious, open-minded, communicative
Results-oriented & flexible
