Daily control and leadership through functional line of the operations in the region, and will coordinate actions with other departments.
Set with the Country Manager yearly targets for all Operational departments and will define, implement and follow-up the operational KPI’s throughout the entire organization.
E.g. Labor efficiency, occupation rates, execution time, mobilization & demobilization, external costs
Create an environment in which operational people can develop, grow and together with the hierarchical leader ensure function descriptions, evaluations, trainings, sufficient operational knowhow are available.
I mplement and improve the operations standards
Implement the target operations manual; collect existing processes; procedures, and especially method statements in close collaboration with QHSE and the local operations managers, and come to one standard operations manual to be followed by operations from management to front-line
Ensure in close collaboration with HR that all employees in the operations departments have standardized job-descriptions, and have evaluations done with major emphasis on the operators and site leadership
Responsible for developing, implementing and managing for operational excellence through the different operations departments in the group.
Stay up to date with the latest evolutions and developments in operations, operations management, and our products (cranes, trailers, etc.)
Mana g e the Operation and others :
Controls the technical execution record and the hoisting drawings with regard to feasibility, safety and financial result.
Foresees project risks and project uncertainties
Compares actual scope, budget and planning with contractual scope, budget and planning. (If not, reports it and takes action).
Check all the time sheets for proper utilization and invoicing purpose.
Orders & follows up equipment, personnel and transport
Organizes and prepares the project, based on budget, scope & timing and in line with SNME execution methodology.
Manages and follows-up the application of work permits, visa, site access requirements, ...
Initiates and follow-up the daily and weekly reporting of the hires through time sheets for correct endorsement of utilization.
Compares the real execution with contractual scope and planning with regard to supplementary costs.
Provide induction of new employees (new intro pack)
Decide who operates which machine
Overview of training school / identity all training needs
Selection of operators for POD certification / any other certification or license needs
Approved all leave requirements for who reports
Control and minimize non client overtime
Organize social and team building exercise activities periodically for operators / riggers
Check and control Timesheets / crane check sheets
Liaise with Client / Customer / Sales department when client has issue with operators
Cranes (All cranes exit / entry)
Decide which crane gets assign to which clients
Organize and instruct mobilization / demobilization of crane
Organize transport (own and hired in) for Mob / Demob.
Liaise with maintenance with regards to crane under repair / need attention
Co-ordinate with client onsite activities
Investigate and liaise with HSE regarding incident / accident
