In the next coming months, the Industrial Business Group in 3M Benelux will strengthen his sales team and will have an opening for a Sales Manager .

Job Description

Lead, coach, manage, mentor and develop a high performing Sales team, driving sales and ensuring sales driven culture of selling and relationship building to support sales growth.

Ensure successful use of sales programs such as salesforce, 3M Sales Aid and measurement reports / tools. Analyse territory performance reports, develop strategic sales territory business plans.

Understand territory, market, customers and competition to develop marketing efforts and leverage sales opportunities together with the Industrial Business marketing.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct supervision of Area Sales Representatives and Divisional Account Supervisors
  • Lead sales operation of a Division within the Industrial Business Group.
  • Achieve regional sales operational and financial objectives.
  • Foster strong interaction with ISMC organization and other CFM partners
  • Monitor, track and review sales operational and financial performance and follow it up with thorough tactical decisions.
  • Develop short and long term sales strategies and sales plan with good understanding in local market.
  • Set key account and regio rep targets and objectives including forecast and budget.
  • Manage and build relationship with key accounts and distributors.
  • Manage effective territory sales.
  • Build capability of the team, coaching the team and nurturing high performing culture.
  • Partner with division marketer to develop and implement a robust marketing campaign calendar inclusive of channel and end-
  • user promotion and sales team activity.

    Requirements :

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined key account and area sales experience in Industrial Market
  • Good understanding in Key Account Management, Area and Territory Management, Channel Management and Distributor Management.
  • Good relationship with customers and channel partners.
  • Outstanding strategic and analytic thinking with ability of data and business analytics.
  • Strong negotiation skill.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Dutch, English and French.
  • Proficiency in computer skills in SFDC and MS office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong leadership and able to work in a cross functional team.
