As an Assistant purcahser, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Manage purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with their policy and values
  • Direct procurement activities to provide all necessary products and goods.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers.
  • Negotiate supply agreements, pricing on combined purchase volumes at various locations with industry leading suppliers to reduce cost of goods and overhead
  • continuously improve the process
  • The qualities and skills required for the Assistant purchaser position are as follows

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Buyer role, ideally in the indirect, services, etc. category.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Dynamism, to drive through milestones / meetings.
  • Knowledge of good purchasing practices
  • Very good written and oral skills in French and English
