As an Assistant purcahser, you will have the opportunity to :
Manage purchasing.
Ensure compliance with their policy and values
Direct procurement activities to provide all necessary products and goods.
Develop relationships with key suppliers.
Negotiate supply agreements, pricing on combined purchase volumes at various locations with industry leading suppliers to reduce cost of goods and overhead

The qualities and skills required for the Assistant purchaser position are as follows
Bachelor's degree in business, economics or other relevant field.
Minimum 2 years experience in a Buyer role, ideally in the indirect, services, etc. category.
Good communication skills.
Dynamism, to drive through milestones / meetings.
Knowledge of good purchasing practices
Very good written and oral skills in French and English
