Job Description Summary The clinical microbiology market is a dynamic market, challenged by consolidation and network formation of the microbiology laboratories, and this in combination with increased complexity of technologies & solutions in microbiology and molecular biology.

As Product Manager, you will ensure successful development and execution of innovative marketing strategies, which deliver tangible differentiation and value creation for our products in the Benelux market.
You will report to the Marketing manager Integrated Diagnostic Solutions, and will mainly focus on areas of lab automation, Blood culture solutions and molecular biology.
and actively support the long-term range planning for your product portfolio. You apply customer expertise and deep knowledge of selling processes to develop value propositions that resonate with customers’ needs & create tactics (campaigns) with a critical view on return on investment You collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders from supply chain to customer service, legal department and regional marketing.
You initiate market development activities, and are responsible for launching new products lines and solutions, in close collaboration with EHQ marketing team & local marketing manager.
You are a strong partner in financial budgeting and forecasting for your product portfolio You become the champion for your products and market : Support sales force in terms of optimal tactical deployment of strategies and know-how through trainingFacilitate the overall communication of information about market, products and related marketing activities to sales & application and support teams.
Share and exchange best practices with the account management teamProvide strategic sales support, i.e. strategic tender support & customer vision presentationsDedicate time and interaction with KOL’s and external partiesIdentify macro trends, analyze market and competitive data and consolidate findings to support the marketing strategy developmentCommunicate to EU marketing team trends, competition behaviors, change in environment, feedback from the field, learning from campaigns, as well as customer needs and insightsGo to person for product price management You become superuser for key BD tools e.
g. SFDC, Qlik, BDWOM Your profile : Suggested minimum of 3 years of business experience in the life sciences / medical in-vitro diagnostics industry Experience / knowledge in Microbiology / Molecular biology / infectious diseases Minimum of 2 years in product and / or market management.
Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, Post-graduate Marketing qualification preferred Strong communication and analytical skills, with strong technical marketing acumen Strong presentation skills Experience of working in a large matrix organization preferred Fluent in Dutch, English and French What can you expect from us?
