The Renewables and Urban business line
Within the Renewables and Urban Business Line of Laborelec, the expertise and experience with electric and green mobility focuses on :
Scanning and assessing the new mobility solutions and related infrastructures (car sharing, electric buses, maritime and aviation solutions, user-centric mobility, multi-fuel charging solutions, autonomous vehicles, );
Performing the technical analysis of charging infrastructure (qualitative and quantitative material assessment, conformity to standards and norms), including their impact on vehicle ageing and on distribution grid networks;
Integrating electric vehicles solutions in the energetic ecosystem (smart grids, local energy communities, aggregation, vehicle-to-grid, );
Developing and operating SMATCH, the EV smart charging solution, implemented at many places, each with several dozen up to several hundred of chargers, in Europe and worldwide;
the charging sessions are operated according to local and global constraints, taking into account the individual needs of the users, self-consumption objectives and grid support.
As Delivery Lead :
You are in charge of a portfolio made of Research Programs and / or Services in your Delivery domain
You construct and keep up-to-date a technology vision and roadmap for your Delivery domain and interact with the people organisation to staff the project teams and with the sales organisation to fuel the product strategy
You are the Operational Manager of Project Managers / Experts from a day-to-day Delivery perspective
You report to the Head of Delivery, member of the Business Line Core Team
You carry the following accountabilities :
You empower the people involved in your Delivery domain, by leading, motivating and coaching them
You contribute to offering and value proposals in strong collaboration with the Sales & People Teams
You transform contracts into delivery (assignment of delivery requests, allocation of resources, interpretation and validation of scope, planning & budget)
You ensure the overall performance and customer satisfaction ( on scope, on budget, on time’, via monitoring & reporting of the delivery activities, and setting the right priorities)
You validate the quality of the deliverables and watch over the quality of project management
You supervise the decision for invoicing to customers / partners / sub-contractors, and make decisions for change orders
You may be our future Delivery Lead Mobility if you :
Hold a PhD degree in the field of green or electric Mobility or a Master’s degree in electrotechnical or electromechanical engineering with a minimum of 7 years working experience in the domain of green or electric mobility.
A specialization in innovation and / or business management is a plus.
Have a very good understanding of the role and impact of mobility technologies in the energy transition.
Have proven leadership and social skills, based on experience with managing and coaching teams.
Have a track-record in developing synergies with partners (for example, manufacturers, commercial partners, universities, companies) and used to work in transversal project teams
Are experienced and skilled in project portfolio management with a proven track-record in successful project portfolio delivery.
You have strong communication skills and are not afraid to talk to and engage an audience
You are at ease in a changing technical and business environment and are able to adapt yourself to the needs of the project and the client.
You consider technical problems with an helicopter view.
You have a hands-on mindset, primarily driven by making delivery happen with quality
You value feedback & learning culture and walk the talk.
You are customer-focused, reliable and result-driven.
You feel comfortable with challenging the status quo and guiding change and have a good resilience.
You combine a good mastery of Dutch, French and English
