Space Applications Services is a company based in the Brussels area (BE) that provides products and services for the space sector in many areas from Avionics, Robotics, Human Exploration, Science and Earth observation.
The successful candidate will be based in our main office at Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area).
The position is in the Accounting Team, Administration Department (comprises of 8 persons).
The candidate will mainly report to the Accounting Team Lead.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Applying monthly accounts from the administrative preparation flow to the booking process
Assigning analytical accounts to the relevant projects
Reconciliation of the accounts according to the company methodology and structure
Monitoring the procurement flow, including payments with the Corporate Credit Cards
Completing and submitting the legal financial questionnaires / surveys
Providing support to the Accounting Team Lead for the preparation of the Annual closing of the Accounts
Following-up and updating the existing procedures, forms and manuals.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience
Some professional experience is recommended, preferably in an SME
Proven experience with MS Office.
The successful candidate will have the following skills

Very good analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
Strength to cope with schedules and deadlines
Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality and procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Very good written and spoken English (French or Dutch is an asset)
Driving licence is preferred.
