  • UCBis looking to recruit a Health care partner (HCP) with solid newproduct launch and successful HP listingexperience.
  • UCB is looking to recruit a(HCP)with extensive selling experience and establishedrelationships within speciality sales
  • The UCB(HCP) will be responsible for developing and implementing aneffective business plan and promoting UCB products within definedKey Accounts and customer targets.
  • The focus ofthe activity will be within hospital and speciality centresthroughout the localcountry

  • Successfuland on schedule listing nPVU product portfolio in assignterritory.
  • Achieve sales forecast within agreedterritory. Implement sales & marketing strategies and fulfilobjectives as agreed with Manager.
  • E.g. Sales, Customer Activity,Customer Development, Budget Managementetc.

  • Identify and manageKey Accounts to maximise sales across the territory. Including theidentification and development of strong business partnerships withkey stakeholders within an account’.
  • Maintainthe highest level of therapy area, product, and competitor andbusiness knowledge.
  • Conduct and implementtimely territory planning & analysis to maximise opportunities.Including the : Implementation of marketingstrategy into territory business plans, identification anddemonstration of clear prioritisation of actions in order toachieve sales targets.
  • Implementation ofbusiness the plan, including the use of tracking mechanisms toidentify variances and take appropriate remedialaction.

    Use sales reporting tool and analyticaltechniques to identify target accounts and customers to achievecoverage and frequency targets.

    Financialmanagement of budget to achieve sales targets set out in businessplan.

  • Internalnetworking and engagement of the internal customer (e.g. Marketing,Medical, Regulatory and SalesManagement).
  • Superior patient centric’ sellingskills with the ability to self appraise and identify developmentopportunities and initiate remedialactions.
  • Share best practice resulting indelivering sales targets and challenge status-quo whereappropriate.
  • Competitor analysis andintelligence gathering and identification of future opportunitiesfor UCB.
  • Ensure all administration is completedaccurately and within time-scalesdictated
  • Adhere to all regulations as per UCBCode ofConduct
  • Experience

  • At least 3 yearsrelevant experience in the specialist prescription pharmaceuticalarea
  • Relevantexperience in sales and marketing will beadvantageous
  • Specific skills (Include specific skills and knowledgenecessary to meet the objectives of theposition)

  • New productlaunch and successful HP listing experience is amust
  • Influencing andnetworking
  • Presentation skills / Strong probingand analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal andcommunication skills; should be an effective team player who canengender credibility and confidence within the company and withcustomers
  • A polished professional presence isessential
  • Highly organized with a keen sense ofwhat it takes to get the job done; strong operating skills and asense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills(written & spoken) in English language (apart from locallanguage)
