You will lead the Finance Shared Service Center. The goal is to deliver best-in-class finance services by managing a team of finance experts in Belgium and the Czech Republic.
This role will require you to take responsibility for the coordination and management of all accounting activities for the organization.
This concerns Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Statutory and Tax Compliance and the focus will be on :
Standardization and optimization of processes and systems
Improvement of process quality and cost efficiency
Flexibility to integrate acquisitions and increasing complexity
Compliance and risk management
KEY RESULT AREAS
Coordinate and organize the different activities of the finance shared service department according to the priorities and competences of each and the needs of the organization to ensure an efficient and effective service can be offered that meets the quality criteria of the organization within the set terms.
Take responsibility for drawing up and following up the profit and loss accounts and balance sheets and correctly carry out financial accountancy work to ensure that a correct posting of the financial accounting is guaranteed.
Draw up regular analyses and reports to ensure the management and CFO has sufficient information to take decisions.
Solve accountancy issues and provide advice from an accountancy perspective.
Lead improvement projects that focus on the implementation of new accountancy systems and rules to ensure that the best possible financial services are guaranteed based on efficient procedures and systems.

In this position, you will report to the Flooring ROW CFO. You will work closely with both the division Finance Directors and your Corporate Finance colleagues (Group Controlling, Tax & Legal, Internal Audit).
5-10 years related finance experience.
You have a can-do' attitude and deliver against promise.
You are a skilled project and team manager.
Strong analytical and reporting skills. Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Other languages are a nice to have.
You understand cultural differences and thrive in an international environment.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
International travel up to 10%.
