The Digital Content Marketer is responsible for the full content of webshop : updates, maintenance, relevancy,

Your responsibilities :

  • Make sure the content of the webshop stays up to date and remains relevant
  • Update all sections of the webshop including homepage, category pages or any other page on the platform
  • Be a key user of the systems in place and understand it’s possibilities in terms of content management
  • Ensure accurate product information for each category and know how to prioritize your efforts using the 20 / 80-rule
  • Monitor automatic product information import flows coming from external sources
  • Proactively enrich product information with extra content in order to increase conversion
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute the (digital) marketing campaigns
  • Create campaign landing pages using a set of available components such as visuals, copy, product listers, etc
  • Execute the content marketing calendar to ensure new / updated content throughout the entire year
  • Make use of creative skills to find interesting ways to present product information, make lists and to generate new ideas
  • Write appealing web copy that converts and collaborate with other content producers to ensure brand consistency, tone of voice and quality
  • Target high traffic keywords and identify trending topics and subsequently create articles (accompanied by product listers) around them
  • Create visuals (e.g. banners) in Adobe Photoshop based on existing material that will be used on webpages
  • Optimize content for search engines; both on-page & technical SEO
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on content and product information
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of competitor websites
  • Translate website analytics into actionable recommendations to improve user experience and increase online conversions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Public Relations, Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Experience working within a content management system
  • Commercial drive to manage and optimize content in order to increase conversion
  • A strong interest in the products & categories that we sell
  • Owns good organizational skills and has the ability to meet deadlines
  • Preferably experience in search engine optimization
  • Knowledge about working with Adobe Photoshop or is interested to acquire basic knowledge
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with project management and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Dutch / French French / Dutch
  • Pro-active and a real problem solver
