The objective of the job is first of all the timely delivery of the quarterly and annual reporting to Ergo Group and NBB according Solvency II standards.
Furthermore, the jobholder will be responsible for various tax declarations (insurance taxes and corporate income taxes).
The Insurance Accountant Solvency II will report to the Manager Accounting & Reporting and will have following responsibilities and tasks :
Annual and quarterly reporting of the prudential Solvency II figures to the NBB;
Annual and quarterly reporting of the prudential Solvencey II figures to Ergo Group;
Preparation of the various tax declarations as well as the posting of those;
Participation in project, e.g. IFRS 9;
Assisting in investment accounting & reporting.
Min. Bachelor degree and 3 years Financial services experience;
Good knowledge of BEGAAP accounting (A to Z);
Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
Knowledge of insurance accounting;
Knowledge of Solvency II regulation;
Excellent analytical and solution-oriented thinking capacity;
Accurate and reliable, structured working approach,
Excellent intercultural and social competencies, hands on approach as well as team spirit,
Participation in project based work;
Excellent communication skills good knowledge of Dutch and English;
High commitment as well as result-oriented.
