Infrastructure Monitoring Technician (Air Traffic Sector) Role We are looking for someone who has a proven ability to follow written procedures and can communicate well with customers, peers and managers.
Candidates should be a proven self-starter, detailed oriented, have excellent customer service and technical troubleshooting skills.
The position will require an individual to : Proactively monitor and operate the IT environment : Network, servers, systems, applications Management of alerts raised by monitoring systems according to standard operating procedures Perform scheduled health checks of defined IT components Apply procedures to restore systems and services Log and update all alerts and incidents in the ticketing tool Work autonomously in shifts in a 24*7 environment Take part of scheduled interventions and system acceptance testing Review technical documentation and contribute to the on-going improvement of the working procedures Required Qualifications 1+ year of experience providing IT support.
Proficient troubleshooting skills that includes hardware, software, and other break / fix issues which might include printing, networking, file shares, etc.
Proven experience of IT support in an enterprise environment Familiar with Unix and Windows systems Knowledge of scripting is a nice to have for this position Good Network troubleshooting skills and knowledge Good understanding of infrastructure support Ability to follow strictly operating procedures Ability to efficiently troubleshoot monitoring alerts and identify root causes Experience with ITSM tools Strong sense of customer service Good organizational skills Technical degree or equivalent experience Ability to multi-task Team-oriented / team player / ability to share ideas as well as listen to ideas Some experience with support and administration of communication systems Language requirements : English (French or Flemish is an asset) Work Location Zaventem How to apply?
