  • Bachelor or master in IT, marketing, or digital
  • Minimum 4 years successful experience as a project manager, consultant, digital asset manager, developer or webmaster
  • Experience in digital project management
  • Ideally retail experience
  • Obsessed with digital journey / digital assets / projects and their optimization
  • Excellent general digital skills (digital consumer behavior, web mastering, web development, measurement, digital marketing, content creation), able to challenge internal users, manufacturers and agencies / partners
  • Great knowledge of the different digital assets (websites, analytics, apps, online to store, in-store digital, chatbot, ) and how they interact
  • FR / NL bilingual + good level of English

  • Role

    The Digital Project Manager will operate inside the Retail Marketing & POS Department that operates for Group of retailers and for the brands Audi, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, SEAT, SKODA, myway and Group After-sales activities.

    You will work in close collaboration and be supported by experts from our central Digital & Digital Media Teams and central agencies.

    You will report to the Head of Retail Marketing & POS. The objective of the role is to :

  • Initiate and drive cross-brand strategic retail digital and customer experience projects & initiatives
  • Contribute in bringing the quality, performance, ROI of our Retail digital assets to a best-in-class level and integrate them as much as possible within the D’Ieteren digital ecosystem.
  • Act as business owner for selected digital assets
  • Bring digital expertise to actively support our retailers and brands with their retail digital strategies and projects.
  • Key responsibilities

    Project Manager & Business Owner for retail digital assets and initiatives

  • Prospective / pro-activity : Define new opportunities and initiate and lead strategic & tactical central Retail digital projects & initiatives
  • Project Management : End to end project manager, capturing, harmonising and prioritising business needs (across Market Areas), leading the project and acting as a SPOC for all stakeholders (brands, IT, Market Areas, agencies, )
  • Product Ownership : Own, steer and continuously improve selected Retail cross-brand digital assets & initiatives after go-live (e.
  • g. dealersites, Google My Business)

  • Organization & Methodology : Define, together with the central teams, IT and partners, the core Retail digital (asset management) processes, standards, toolboxes and trainings (eg Show-room digitalization, digital signage, dealer digital assets (websites development), local SEA / SEO, local social Media steering, Digital Media coordination, Google My Business follow-up, ).
  • Knowledge sharing : digital (assets), local digital activations, CRO & project management best practice sharing and creation of toolkits for central & Local Marketing Managers.
  • Internal digital consultant

  • Advise (and partner with) central Retail Marketing Manager and local Marketing Managers and challenge agencies on customer experience and digital asset strategy, planning and execution to enable D’Ieteren to become best-in-class in retail Digital Marketing.
  • Act as a digital consultant & asset specialist / expert for the Retailers on their initiatives
  • Act as a digital project manager on selected Retail initiatives and drive digital retail Roadmap.
